A Nomogram for Predicting Physical Restraint of Patients in Intensive Care Unit

Nomogram predicting the probability of physical restraint in the ICU. To use the nomogram, vertical line was drawn from each variable up to the point. The resulting value is the patient’s score on that variable (i.e., “delirium = Yes” = 31 points). The scores for each variable were then summarized to obtain a total score corresponding to the risk of physical restraint. We then plotted a vertical line from the axis of the total point down to the risk of physical restraint, thus obtaining the physical restraint probability for this patient.
