The solid curves were calculated using the semianalytical solutions with the parameters specified in Table 2 from the incoming flux data. The dotted curves were calculated from activity evolution data in upstream using the same D_e values as the ones calculated from the incoming fluxes. The dashed curves were calculated from activity evolution data in upstream adjusting D_e values so as to prevent the simulated incoming flux from being higher than the experimental one. Decay corrections were applied with respect to the start of the through-diffusion stage.
