Diagenesis and Fluid Flow Variability of Structural Heterogeneity Units in Tight Sandstone Carrier Beds of Dibei, Eastern Kuqa Depression

Figure 6

Overview section of a water leg (4450–4480 m) in Ahe Formation of well YN4. Loggings and cores reveal several distributary channels with glutenites at the bottom, with sandstones and silts or mudstones upward in a normal lithology cycle. Three zones filled with deep blue are more porous and permeable for a high content of quartz framework grains and little or no carbonate cement. The subsections have poor reservoir quality for pores being rich in carbonate cement (light blue) or abundant igneous grains (green).
