any steroid or 5 aminosalicylate (5-ASA) enemas taken from 1 to 3 weeks before
entry into the study. All concomitant
medication doses given are the daily amounts, the only oral steroid taken was
prednisolone, aza = azathioprine. CDAI =
Crohn’s disease activity index.
