Colonic mucosal TNF-α protein expression in the control group, UC model group, and rosiglitazone treated group on days 7, 14, 21, 35. In the control group, expression of TNF-α protein in the colonic mucosa was significantly less compared to the UC model group (). In the rosiglitazone treatment group, TNF-α protein expression reduced significantly than that of the model group on days 7, 14, 21 and 35 ().
