Suppressing Syndecan-1 Shedding Ameliorates Intestinal Epithelial Inflammation through Inhibiting NF-κB Pathway and TNF-α

<div>Activities of NF-κB pathway in IEC-6 cells were assessed by western blot. LPS was used to induce activation of NF-κB pathway. SDC1 downregulated total P65 and IκBα (a), cytoplasmic P65 (b), and nuclear P65 (c). The reductive extent induced by the unshedding SDC1 was more notable. GAPDH and histone expression were used as the loading control for total and cytoplasmic proteins and nuclear proteins, respectively.</div>
