Diagnostic accuracy of inflammatory markers with regard to development of postoperative infectious complications. The AUC values were 0.708 (), 0.760 (), and 0.734 () for CRP on postoperative days (POD) 1, 3, and 5, respectively; Youden index revealed that a CRP level of >55.3 mg/L on POD 3 is predictive of postoperative complications with the sensitivity being 62.1% and the specificity being 73.7%.
