Pathological morphology of colon tissues was observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining. The NG showed continuous structure of mucosal epithelium and complete intestinal glands. Damaged mucosa, disordered glandular structure, and hyperemia were observed in the MD group. And the EA and MB showed greatly improved histopathological conditions after receiving EA and MB treatments. NG: normal group; MD: model group; EA: electroacupuncture group; MB: moxibustion group.
