¹H-¹⁵N HSQC peak originating from Val³⁹ (upper) and Val⁴⁰ (lower) of Aβ(1–40) in the presence or absence of GM1 micelles and ThT. Site specifically ¹⁵N-labelled Aβ(1–40) proteins (0.2 mM each) were titrated with GM1 at Aβ/GM1 molar ratios of 1 : 0 (a, d), 1 : 15 (b, e), and 1 : 30 (c, f). The spectra measured in the absence (black) and presence (red) of 0.4 mM ThT are overlaid. The peak indicated by asterisk originated from GM1.
