Mechanically Reconfigurable Microstrip Lines Loaded with Stepped Impedance Resonators and Potential Applications

Proof of concept demonstrator of an SIR loaded microstrip line useful as alignment/position sensor for a displacement corresponding to the strongest notch (a) and lumped element equivalent circuit model (b).
