analysis to assess for areas where activity
was opposite in younger and older adults.
These areas within right frontal
cortex tended to be active across tasks
in younger adults and deactivated
across task in older adults. Further,
these areas correspond to regions
involved in attention and task decisions,
which have also been implicated in
general cognitive slowing theories.
