Computer-Assisted Segmentation of Videocapsule Images Using Alpha-Divergence-Based Active Contour in the Framework of Intestinal Pathologies Detection

<div>Detection and recognition of a polyp area using the approach proposed in [<a href="/journals/ijbi/2014/428583/#B16">2</a>] on WCE images. It can be noticed that the only 5-bit resolution of the cooccurrence matrices used for the learning step of the algorithm avoids being too dependent on the “quality” of the image.</div>
