Comparison of Diffusion Tensor Imaging Metrics in Normal-Appearing White Matter to Cerebrovascular Lesions and Correlation with Cerebrovascular Disease Risk Factors and Severity

Table 2

Values of the four major DTI metrics measured in the 10 global cerebral tissues/lesions considered in this study using the DTI processing pipeline. Mean, coefficient of variation (CV), and 95% confidence interval (CI) of the DTI metrics in each lesion were calculated across the ONDRI CVD subjects who have that specific tissue/lesion. Note that the first two rows provide the number and percentage of the subjects from the ONDRI CVD cohort (152 subjects in total) who have each type of these tissues/lesions. If the volume of a lesion within a subject’s brain is smaller than 24 mm3, we assumed that the subject does not have that specific lesion type.
