Ref(2)P accumulates in the adult brain of atg8a and blue cheese mutant flies. The tissues are stained for Ref(2)P (red) and DNA (blue). Ref(2)P accumulates ubiquitously into large sphere-shaped inclusion bodies/aggregates in blue cheese and autophagy mutants compared to wild type.
