Human seipin isoforms. Multiple alignments of seipin isoforms were performed through T-Coffee [32]. Isoform 3 is the biggest with 462 amino acids, followed by 1 and 2 with 398 and 287 amino acids, respectively. UniProt [14] considers seipin isoform 1 as the canonical one.
