Optimal Extraction of Gallic Acid from Suaeda glauca Bge. Leaves and Enhanced Efficiency by Ionic Liquids

Supplementary Material

Extraction of gallic acid from Suaeda glauca Bge leaves were performed based on the single factor experiments by ultrasonic-assisted extraction (UAE). The influence parameters including extraction temperature, extraction time and liquid-solid ratio were optimized by response surface methodology (RSM). Figure S1 showed high performance liquid chromatography profile of 17 runs designed by Box-Behnken Design (BBD). Then regression model was built on the actual data of response variables using Design-Expert v7.1.6 software and optimal conditions were obtained. Next, a validation test should be performed to verify the repeatability of the regression model obtained from the systematic study of different extraction parameters. Figure S2 was HPLC diagrams of verification experiments. Under optimal conditions, to observe the EE of gallic acid using ionic liquids, Figure S3 HPLC diagrams of enhanced experimentals by ionic liquids were collected.
