Energy incorporated per volume as a function of the concentration of the dispersed phase for O/W emulsions within a concentration range of 10–90% . Two sections can be found: a linear growth below the 60%  threshold and an exponential growth afterwards. The change in the growth can be explained by the decrease in the interdroplet distance which enhances the interactions between droplets.
