Effect of Vitronectin Bound to Insulin-Like Growth Factor-I and Insulin-Like Growth Factor Binding Protein-3 on Porcine Enamel Organ-Derived Epithelial Cells

Figure 2

Comparison of the cell proliferation of enamel organ-derived epithelial (EOE) cells on polystyrene, collagen type I, and insulin-like growth factor-I/insulin-like growth factor binding protein-3/vitronectin (IGF-IGFBP-VN) complex at passage 1. The number of cells was counted on days 1, 10, and 25. The growth of EOE cells on IGF-IGFBP-VN complex was faster than that of EOE cells on Col-I. The EOE cells did not grow on PS. Asterisks indicate a significant difference ( ) between paired conditions.
