Elk-1 upregulated COX-2 promoter activity through Elk-1 binding site. The Elk-1 expression vector (pCMV3.0b-Elk-1) or control vector (pCMV3.0b) was transfected together with construct pCOX-2 (−2026/+44), pCOX-2 (−2026/+44, m−82/−69), or pCOX-2 (−2026/+44, del−82/−69).
