Effect of Orexin-A on Cortisol Secretion in H295R Cells via p70S6K/4EBP1 Signaling Pathway

p70S6K/4EBP1 is involved in orexin-A causing cortisol secretion from H295R cells. Cells were exposed to orexin-A at concentration of 10⁻⁶ M for 24 h, in the presence of PF-04691502 (10⁻⁶ M), SB674042 (10⁻⁶ M), or the combination of both. Cortisol content was assessed using an ELISA kit. Data are presented as mean ± SEM of three independent experiments. Asterisks indicate significant differences compared to control ().
