Effects of acylated ghrelin on the protein expression of proteins involved in lipid and glucose metabolism. Protein expression of glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4), AMP-activated protein kinase α (AMPKα), phosphorylated AMPKα (p-AMPKα), uncoupling protein 3 (UCP3), and phosphorylated acetyl-CoA carboxylase (p-ACC) in primary cultured rat myoblasts under high fat conditions was determined by western blot. β-actin was used as internal reference.
