Ginsenoside Rg1 Ameliorates Palmitic Acid-Induced Hepatic Steatosis and Inflammation in HepG2 Cells via the AMPK/NF-B Pathway

Inhibitory effect of G-Rg1 on PA-induced lipid accumulation in HepG2 cells. HepG2 cells were treated with 0.25 mM PA for 24 h and then cultivated with 40 or 80 μg/mL G-Rg1 for 6 h. The lipid accumulation was shown by Oil Red O staining (original magnification × 200) and the absorbance of the samples at 450 nm was measured using a microplate reader.
