Peripheral Spexin Inhibited Food Intake in Mice

<div>The effect i.p. injection of 10 nmol/mouse spexin on <i>Npy</i>, <i>Agrp</i>, <i>Pomc</i>, <i>Cart</i>, <i>Crh</i>, <i>Orexin</i>, and <i>Mch</i> mRNAs levels in the hypothalamus (a) and brainstem (b) in mice. The housekeeping gene 36B4 was used as the internal control. The target genes were detected by RT-qPCR after 10 nmol spexin injection. The unpaired <i>t</i>-test was utilized to analyze the difference between the spexin and the control (NS).
