MetS: metabolic syndrome, BMI: body mass index, WC: waist circumference, SBP: systolic blood pressure, DBP: diastolic blood pressure, TG: triglyceride, TC: total cholesterol, LDL-C: low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol, and HDL-C: high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol. An independent t test was applied. Statistical significance is defined as a two-tailed value ≤0.05.
