Analysis of Electrodeposited Nickel-Iron Alloy Film Composition Using Particle-Induced X-Ray Emission

A PIXE spectrum of a NiFe thin film deposited from a 100 mM NiSO4, 10 mM FeSO4, 0.5 M H3BO3, and 1 M Na2SO4 solution at −900 mV for 6 min. Approximately 1.8 μC of 3.4 MeV protons were incident on the sample to obtain this spectrum. The peaks corresponding to the K X-rays of Ti, Fe, and Ni, and the L X-rays of Au are indicated.
