Note the signals on the sex chromosome pair and chromosome pair 20, the site of the 18S rDNA locus in rainbow trout. (b) Hybridization of the BAC clone RT429A21 to male rainbow trout chromosomes. This BAC is close to the 5′ end of the OmyY1 contig (6256) (see Figure 1). Note the larger signal on the Y chromosome compared to the X.
