Real-time RT-qPCR analysis of IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6, TGF-β (a), lysozyme, C3, factor B, and factor H (b) in the head kidney of O. mykiss 1 (open bars), 5 (gridded bars), and 10 (closed bars) days after ip implantation of coconut oil alone (control) or containing 50 μg/g bw cortisol. Relative expression levels were normalized to 18S rRNA and fold changes were calculated against control. Values represent the means and SEM ( per group).
