The magnitudes of the reflection coefficients for the seafloor reflection and the BSR are calculated for a model with 3% free gas below the gas hydrate stability zone [44]. Density and seismic velocities are taken from the full-waveform inversion of Pecher et al. [9]. The black boxes mark the incident angle ranges which are shown in Figure 6.
