The Bouguer anomaly onshore is portrayed together with Free-Air anomaly (offshore) in the area of Costa Rica and Nicaragua looking from southeast. Most prominent features are the positive anomaly on Nicoya Peninsula (NP), which is caused by the high density ophiolite complex and gravity lows in the basin west of the Talamanca area. The gravity anomaly is pictured in exact the same area of the high resolution topography, as presented before in Figure 5. For more details refer to the text.
