Time course of gene expressions in the liver of mice treated with CCl4. (a) RT-PCR analyses of BMP2, BMP4 and albumin were performed using the primer sets shown in Section 2. Albumin expression is decreased at 3–36 h and recovers at 48 h. BMP4 is transiently expressed at 3–6 h after CCl4 injection. (b) Real-time PCR analyses of albumin and BMP4 were performed using primer sets and TaqMan probes provided by Applied Biosystems Co. All data are shown as the means ± SE from three independent experiments.
