Rats were injected (i.p.) CCL₄ with doses (0.5 mL/kg 1 : 1 in olive oil) twice per week for 8 weeks. Five weeks after CCl₄ injection, rats received PRP (0.5 mL/kg 1 : 1 in PBS, s.c.). The PRP (0.5 mL/kg 1 : 1 in PBS, s.c.) alone did not increase the levels of the enzymes. Values are mean ± SD of 6 rats per group.
