As noted, during critical steps of surgery, it has been necessary to administer a greater amount of sevoflurane, in association with multiple boluses of beta-blocker. Total labetalol administered was 125 mg + continuous infusion 2 mg/mL with maximum administration of 0.266 mg/min. Phentolamine was administered by boluses of 1-2 mg (50 mg total).
