Histological findings after CAIA administration. Mice were immunized with collagen type II antibody or PBS (day 0) followed by lipopolysaccharide stimulation or received saline as a control on day 3. On day 5, ankle joints were fixed in formalin, paraffin-embedded, sectioned, and stained with hemotoxylin and eosin.
