Isolation of Actinomycetes with Cellulolytic and Antimicrobial Activities from Soils Collected from an Urban Green Space in the Philippines

<div>Neighbor-joining tree of the genus <i>Bacillus</i> based on 1331 nucleotides of the <i>16s rRNA</i> gene using the GTR + I + G model of DNA substitution. The tree is rooted on members of <i>Paenibacillus, Brevibacillus,</i> and <i>Alicyclobacillus.</i> Values on nodes represent percentage bootstraps out of 1000 bootstrap samples; values less than 50% are not shown. Scale bar represents five nucleotide substitutions for every one thousand nucleotides. The phylogenetic tree supports the BLAST identity of the isolates as they cluster with the <i>Bacillus cereus</i>- and <i>Bacillus pseudomycoides</i>-type strains.</div>
