Investigation of Temperature and Aging Effects in Nanostructured Dye Solar Cells Studied by Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy

The average IV-parameters as a function of time, before and after every temperature treatment (pairs of two consecutive markers) versus reference cell values. (a) Open circuit voltage , (b) short circuit current density , (c) fill factor FF, and (d) power conversion efficiency . Standard deviations are not marked in the figures but their values fell on the range 0–0.01 V for the , 0.4–1 mA/cm2 for the , 1%–4% for the FF, and 0.1%–0.5% for the (the largest values typical to the most aged nonsintered cells). Small initial standard deviations indicated even cell quality which is why the final number of temperature-treated cells could be limited to three and that of the reference cells to two.
