The absorption wavelengths and bandgaps versus the real part of the refractive index are summarized here after their identifications from the figures such as Figure 3 for a homogeneous microsphere. The points are the exact locations of wavelength for the strongest fluctuations while the vertical bars represent a range where fluctuations are seen.
