Total (silicon + silver) power absorption spectra for half-shell nanowires with heights from 20 to 80 nm. Width of these nanowires was 120 nm. The trace marked as (140 w, 60 nm) shows the spectrum for a (140 × 60) nanowire. Power absorption was normalized with respect to source power.
