Synthetic procedure of organic dyes. (i) DMF, POCl3, and 1,2-dichloroethane, reflux; (ii) cyanoacetic acid, piperidine, and CH3CN, reflux; (iii) FeCl3, CHCl3, and RT; (iv) Br2 and AcOH; and (v) DME, H2O, K2CO3, and 5-formyl-2-thienylboronic acid, reflux.
