<div>Inheritance of sickle cell disease. In a scenario where both parents have a sickle cell trait (SCT, HbAS), each pregnancy carries a 25% chance of normal offspring (HbAA), a 50% chance of offspring with SCT, and a 25% chance of offspring with sickle cell disease (HbSS).</div>
