Antibacterial Additive for Polystyrene Based on Silver Nanoparticles Supported on Titanium Dioxide

AFM height, phase contrast, and energy dissipation images of a PS matrix with different amounts of Ag/TiO₂ nanoparticles. Color contrast observed on the surfaces is related to the presence of Ag/TiO₂ nanoparticles on those regions. Some agglomerates are observed in the sample containing 700 ppm of Ag/TiO₂.
