aP2 has poor solubility in hexane, and the upper, clear portion of a saturated P2 solution in hexane was collected and used for measurement. bDue to the very poor solubility of P1 and P2 in DMF and the insolubility of P1 and P2 in DMSO, these solutions were prepared by adding a very small amount of concentrated CHCl3 stock solution of P1 or P2 to respective solvents. The numbers in brackets are the dielectric constants of the solvents.
