Selected Papers from the International Workshop on Reconfigurable Communication-centric Systems on Chips (ReCoSoC' 2010)
Description
The ReCoSoC' 2010 is a periodic annual meeting to expose and discuss gathered expertise as well as state-of-the-art research around SoC-related topics through plenary invited papers and posters.
ReCoSoC endeavours to encourage scientific exchanges and collaborations. ReCoSoC finds its roots in collaboration between LIRMM (CNRS/University of Montpellier 2) and MES (TU, Darmstadt) which has been extended over time to new partners like the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) or Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and Université de Bretagne Occidentale, Brest, France.
ReCoSoC aims to provide a prospective view of tomorrow's challenges in the multibillion transistor era, taking into account the emerging techniques and architectures exploring the synergy between flexible on chip communication and system reconfigurability.
The Reconfigurable Communication-centric systems on Chip workshop is a forum to present and discuss new research on reconfigurable computing, systems and networks on chips areas.
A wide variety of topics related to systems on chips are covered, including but not limited to:
- Embedded reconfigurability in all its forms
- Multiprocessors systems on chips
- System and SoC design methods
- Communication architectures
- Asynchronous design techniques
- Low-power design methods
- Middleware-related approaches
- New paradigms of computation including bioinspired approaches
Selection of the conference papers for inclusion in the special issue. This special issue will accept extended articles selected from the peer-reviewed papers that will be accepted for presentation at the International Workshop on Reconfigurable Communication-centric System on Chips (ReCoSoC' 2010) (http://www.lirmm.fr/recosoc2010/) which will take place in Karlsruhe, Germany, May 17—19, 2010.
This special issue is only restricted to invited papers from the ReCoSoC2010 conference.
Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/ijrc/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/ according to the following timetable:
