3, 5-Diaryl-2-pyrazoline-1-carbaldehyde (1) was condensed with hydrazine hydrate and o-phenylene diamine to afford corresponding hydrazones (2) and 3-benzimidazolyl-3, 5-diaryl-2-pyrazoline respectively under MWI condition. The newly synthesized compounds have been screened for their antibacterial activity in vitro.
