Photomask (a) and micropatterned azidophenyl low-molecular-weight chitosan (P-ALMC) after UV irradiation (b). The pattern of P-ALMC shows that P-ALMC reacted after irradiation with UV light and became insoluble in water, in contrast to the soluble nonirradiated azidophenyl chitosan, is the same as the photomask.
