Synthesis of N-[1,5-dimethyl-4-(1H-naphtho[1,2-e][1,3]oxazin-2-yl)-2-phenyl-1,2-dihydro-pyrazol-3-ylidene]-N′-(1,7,7-trimethyl-bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-ylidene)ethane-1,2-diamine (11). Reaction of N-1-[1,5-dimethyl-4-(1H-naphtho[1,2-e][1,3]oxazin-2-yl)-2-phenyl-1,2-dihydro-pyrazol-3-ylidene]-ethane-1,2-diamine (4) with 1,7,7-trimethyl bicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2-one (10) to form the compound 11. vi: boric acid/rt.
