Workflow for screening and testing a large sorghum germplasm panel. 381 accessions were selected from a sorghum genebank, grown in South Carolina, and evaluated for polyphenol concentrations and relatedness. Twenty accessions were selected for in vitro testing. Four accessions were identified that reduce induction of inflammatory cytokines.
