Transglycosylation Properties of a Novel α-1,4-Glucanotransferase from Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron and Its Application in Developing an α-Glucosidase-Specific Inhibitor

Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrum of the DNJ transglycosylation product. The purified glycosylation transfer product was determined using MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry. The molecular weight of the glucoside was one glucose residue larger than that of DNJ. G1-DNJ was observed at m/z 348.3294 (M + Na)+.
