Relevance and Standardization of In Vitro Antioxidant Assays: ABTS, DPPH, and Folin–Ciocalteu

The number of exchanged electrons per molecule of caffeic acid (CA), chlorogenic acid (CGA), gallic acid (GA), catechin (CTH), epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), ascorbic acid (AA), dehydroascorbic acid (DHA), and Trolox in DPPH, ABTS, and FC assays. Numbers of exchanged electrons were determined after 60 min incubation of antioxidant with the probe at 25°C in the appropriate solvent.
