Quantification of Mineral Oil Aromatic Hydrocarbons (MOAH) in Anhydrous Cosmetics Using ¹H NMR

NMR spectra of a mineral oil sample containing 5% of 3-(4-methylbenzylidene)camphor. The blue ¹H NMR spectra show the signals of a direct measurement in cyclohexane/acetone-d₆, while the red spectra represent the result of the same sample following SPE cleanup. The aromatic light filter is not detectable following SPE.
