A Synthetic Pan-Aurora Kinase Inhibitor, 5-Methoxy-2-(2-methoxynaphthalen-1-yl)-4H-chromen-4-one, Triggers Reactive Oxygen Species-Mediated Apoptosis in HCT116 Colon Cancer Cells

<div>Effect of DK1913 on the induction of genotoxic stress response in HCT116 cells. HCT116 cells were treated with 5 <i>μ</i>M DK1913 for different time periods. Cell lysates were subjected to immunoblotting using antibodies against genotoxic response proteins. Arrow: proform of BID (pro-BID); arrowhead: truncated form of BID (t-BID); GAPDH: internal control.
